CRISPY BREAD FRESH FROM THE OWN OVEN
Have you ever thought about baking your own bread? Or have you already been an enthusiastic bread baker and are curious to try new things?
The proofing baskets are made from 100% sustainable wicker and are made by hand. It ensures ideal conditions during the fermentation process. During fermentation, the dough develops heat and releases moisture. Both are absorbed by the basket and perfectly balanced. This means the temperature stays constantly warm without heat build-up, as the natural wicker provides optimal ventilation. This makes the bread light and airy and gives it a nice, crispy crust.
And this is how it works: You flour the proofing basket and shake off any excess flour well, add the pre-shaped dough and cover it with a damp cloth so that the Surface does not dry out while walking. After it has risen, it is turned out onto a baking tray or baking stone and the basket is removed. What emerges is a perfectly pre-formed piece of bread dough with a typical baking pattern. Now put it in the oven for a while and you will hold your perfectly baked bread in your hands.
After use, let the proofing basket dry completely and knock out any remaining dough and flour residues or remove any stubborn ones with a brush. And when bread isn't fermenting in it, it can also be used ideally as a bread or fruit basket.
