The stone is made of high-quality, food-safe fireclay. It stores heat perfectly and continuously releases it evenly to the baked goods during baking. At the same time, it draws moisture from the dough, creating a wonderfully thin, crispy surface. You can bake directly on it or, for particularly fatty doughs, use baking paper. This makes cleaning easier and protects the stone.
After use, once the stone has cooled down, any rough dirt can be easily cleaned with a sharp knife, dough scraper, or brush. Thanks to the square shape, the baking space is optimally utilized and offers plenty of room for many baking ideas. Conveniently, it fits into nearly all standard ovens.
It is also ideal for true grill enthusiasts, as the material can withstand temperatures up to 1000°C without any issues. Suitable for gas and charcoal grills, smokers, or campfires. Please do not clean the fireclay stone with water or dish soap. It should only be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth, as the stone absorbs moisture quickly, which can cause it to break. Rest assured, due to its high temperature resistance, the stone will be germ-free and clean!
